In Eve Langlais's Legal Wolf’s Mate—previously published in the anthology Growl— taking on a pro bono murder case isn't a problem for a lawyer who enjoys a challenge. Discovering his new client is his mate? A tad more complicated. Gavin has no intention of settling down, especially not with a woman accused of murder. But the beautiful, fiery Megan has his blood boiling and his heart racing, and it doesn't take Gavin long to know that his fate is sealed...
Review by Samantha:
I absolutely love a good PNR and this one was just that. I enjoy reading shifter books to clear the palate and prepare me for my next books to review. I was excited seeing this one and having the opportunity to review it as well.
Gavin is about as much of a player as he can be, refusing to believe the lore about mates. Megan is a hard headed pain in the rear, but needs his help. Megan is not ever one to need or want help or one that has plans to settle down. There are a few twists that had me completely shocked, but Eve Langlais did it in such a way that it was amusing.
I have never read anything by her but she has quite a way with words. This books was phenomenally written. I look forward to reading more by her. 5+ stars!
